I purchased this item on April 1st from Amazon com for 1 199 00 The picture on the Mitsubishi 60737 is AMAZING I really honestly feel like its right up there with some of the better LCD displays I have seen The sound is also pretty darn good for a Big Screen TV Usually large screen TV s have crappy sound but I really had no complaints with this one AND I already own one of those Theater in a box Surround Sound systems However the remote is absolutley the worst I have ever come across The menus on the TV aren t exactly the easiet to navigate either Other than that you really can t beat the screen size to price ratio and again I really must emphasize this point the picture quality is absolutley gorgeous HD cable programs and PS3 games particularly Final Fantasy XIII look absolutley stunning I am very happy with this TV

Within months the light engine failed with giving black spots in the screen The replacement part was out of stock this means this defect is regular with most of the TV Out of warranty it is expensive to replace this item

first the set worked 1 day the next it wouldnt turn on It took me a few days to figure out how to contact mitisi so It was a week before someone came to look at it ie must be home vbetween 12 and 5 they couldnt fix it onsite so they took it got it back 2 1/2 weeks later for the nest few days it turned itself off at various times but has worked alright since 4 years ago I bought a 32 inch Emprex LCD and my sis bought a 50 inch DLP she mentioned how bad regular cable looked well many chanells looked bad on my tv also so I didnt pay it much mind but they look really bad on this However to get HD I have an atenna and had a switch where I could go from ant to cable However on this 60 TV you cannot change without first scanning through all the cahnnels which takes awhile The Hd lookd really good but my elchepo LCD the picture was really great As some mentioned it is really hard to see this if you are at an angle and there is daylight Comsidedring I went to best buy today and they had 55 inch LED TVs for about 1699 buying this is probalby one of the worst decisions I made this year The sound is really base heavey I have the base turned alm ost off and it still bottoms out sometimes If i Had to do it again I would definatly got w/ most any other platform
